ESC Tips

Need to glance into the past? (Or last week?) We can get you there.
Whether you are seeking historical data or wish to review the last three rounds only of that ten round project, it’s all at your fingertips with My ESC. You can sort your data by date and control the date range of your search. We make accessing what you need, when you need it, simple.

Ever want to change the default function? We mean, of anything. Sometimes you just have a better way, right?
Well with myESC, you sure can! Look under “Sample Status”, there you simply pull up your table, customize it as you see fit (and you can modify, compress or change the sort order, add some limits - go ahead! Have at it!), then the next time you want to see it, your nifty new chart will override the default report style. We knew you’d appreciate that.

Too many projects, too little time? A quick review of the big picture allows you to overview multiple projects at the same time.
Simply return to “Customize Report” and add as many other projects as you would like by using the shift key or the control key to highlight each project, then simply choose “Add”.

Different samples? No problem. Even though they are evaluated differently, you can separate by matrix.
Yes, you can sort by project within one table; but you can also you can sort by matrix. Nifty, eh?

Need to review only specific data within your project? Let us show you how to constrain your table by method or parameter.
Each constraint is an additive within the chart, allowing you to have unlimited flexibility. Now you can constrain at the method and compound level.

Regulatory limits. You know how they vary and how they change. State by state by state.
No worries. We keep an up-to-date state listing of all regulations, so the information you need is one click away. If you don’t see the listing you require, provide us the link and we’ll add it to our list. So now you can incorporate regulatory limits through our extensive library.

Have your own unique process of state limits?
We allow you to create your own list, so if you have a specific set of limits, you can place them in “My List Folder”. And if you want to modify one of the global lists, you simply do the same by copying it into your My List Folder. See how easy customized reports can be?

What happens when you need to compare your data to a regulatory list? We say, great!
And we make it simple for you by color coding the data so you can see how your results compare against any number of regulatory lists. Our color coding highlights for you the highest violations up to six limits, so the data, you’ll see, is quite clear.

Are you a creature of habit? Always churning out the same report time and time again?
Hey, when you find something that works for you, right? With myESC, once you create your favorite report you can save it so that you can always access it. Just look for “My report file” and select “Memorize reports”. Easy, right?

Looking for a trend analysis? Look no further.
Once you create and memorize your own custom spread sheet, you can incorporate limits from our extensive library or mine our database, adding specific information to your table. You can then arrange the order of that information, which sorts the data, creating a trend analysis for your monitoring wells. The table will sort by the first column, but you can set your own parameters.

Like to view the world from a different axis? Well, that’s something we can’t do.
But we can let you view your data that way. You can rotate the axis by selecting this option under Layout. So the samples can appear along the top or along the side, with the sorting based on the first row of the column. We always knew you’d like a different view.

Would you like more control? We thought you might.
So we give you the ability to control your units, PPM or PPB, so that you can have volume or mass units. We thought you’d appreciate that.

Limits need to jump out at you, don’t you think?
But not everyone has a color printer. That’s why we give you the option to highlight your limits in color or in bold. Yes, we’ve thought of just about everything.

Detection levels at a glance. How, you say?
If you just take a look under Display Results, you’ll see an option allowing you to display only the hits on a table, so if a compound was not detected, it will not be highlighted. What a bold way to get to the heart of the matter.
