ESC Lab Sciences has completed method validation and is now accepting samples collected in 40 mL containers for analysis of Diesel Range Organics for characterizations ranging from C10 to C40 by Gas Chromatography (GC) from the following states:

Alabama, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky

Mississippi, New Mexico, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming

ESC has validated this micro-extraction method and combined it with the implementation of the latest sample introduction technology on our DRO Gas Chromatography Instruments in our Semi-volatiles organic laboratory.  Traditional DRO analytical protocol requires the use of 180mL of solvent to extract a one liter volume of water.  This technique has allowed for a 98.9% reduction in solvent, thus making it more environmentally friendly.  The new sample introduction system allows for a larger injection volume into the instrument, resulting in no impact to the reporting limit of the traditional 3510/8015 based method.  This latest technology is supportive of ESC’s goals of environmental stewardship and responsible growth.

If you have technical questions regarding this innovative new prep and analysis combination, please contact Judy Morgan or Dixie Marlin in our Technical and Regulatory Affairs Department.  Please contact your Sales or Technical Service Representative for pricing.
